Online Eyeglass Policy

We strive to provide you with the highest quality frame and lenses that are designed to meet your personal visual needs. You have a right to your eyeglass prescription and as a patient of Elevate Vision Care, you will always be provided a copy at the conclusion of the exam. We hope you will support local businesses like us who contributes to the community. If you decide to shop elsewhere, we certainly understand and we will be pleased to provide your ongoing eye and vision care.

Filling eyeglasses properly involves in person precise measurements, unbiased recommendations, based on your visual symptoms and needs, as well as skillful adjustments of the frame and lenses. Since internet vendors do not actually meet you in person, they cannot provide those services. We provide all the necessary optical services, at no additional cost, for patients who support us through their purchases, but we cannot provide them for eyeglasses purchased elsewhere.

We can provide only two technical services for eyewear purchased outside our office.

1. Pupillary Distance - the distance between your eyes taken with a ruler, not with our advanced measurement system.

2. Prescription verification - we will verify the basic lens parameters in new glasses to see if they match your prescription. We cannot troubleshoot optical measurements taken by others, visual problems from inaccurate optical measurements, or other issues with the lenses. Correction or changes in the eyewear will be up to you and the eyewear vendor.
